Libra: Balanced in all aspects of their lives, Librans face a problem when this delicate balance gets disturbed. They need a diet which balances good taste with good health and keeps them healthy.
The tissue salt for Libra is sodium phosphate. It is very important for Librans to keep a proper balance between acids and alkalis in the body, for too much acidity will interfere with kidney functions, and cause abdomen and intestine related blockades.
Eat strawberries, apples, raisins, almonds, asparagus, peas, corn, carrots, spinach, beets, radishes, tomatoes, wheat, brown rice and oatmeal. Librans function best with a high-protein diet that is low in fat, sugar and acid-producing foods. You should eat lots of broiled fish, seafood, poultry,low-fat cheeses, yoghurt, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, salad greens, and wholegrain breads.
Tip: Drink plenty of water.
Scorpio : These intense and powerful people draw from their inner resources of energy and power. Emotional turmoil and difficulties result in health problems; hence they need a diet which triggers their recuperative powers.
The tissue salt for Scorpio is calcium sulphate, a deficiency in which results in sinus infections that hang on forever, skin eruptions which do not heal, irritability, mood swings and infertility.
Eat asparagus, cauliflower, radishes, onions, parsnips, tomatoes, figs, black cherries and coconut. Scorpios need calcium-rich food such as milk, cheese, yoghurt and cottage cheese. You should concentrate on a diet high in protein, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole-grain breads.
Tip : Alcohol is toxic for their system; it intensifies their already volatile emotions.
Sagittarius: These high-energy and independent people with robust systems tend to get carried away and sometimes overdose on junk food and alcohol, wherein can play havoc with their system. They need a high energy and protein diet.
The tissue salt for Sagittarius is silica, which strengthens the nervous system, keeps the connective brain tissue healthy and prevents numbness in the fingers, legs and feet. Lack of this mineral may result in lank hair, dull skin sores and receding of the gums.
Eat fruits and vegetables, raw salads, green peppers, figs, prunes, strawberries, pears, apples, potatoes, oats, the husks of grains, whole-grain cereals and egg yolk. Foods that particularly do not agree with Sagittarius are fats, gravies, cream, butter, candy and chocolate. They should go very easy on alcoholic beverages, not only to avoid damage to the liver but also to the skin, which coarsens and ages under the effects of liquor. Sagittarians should eat a high protein diet, with lots of broiled poultry, fish, eggs, skim milk, yoghurt, brown rice, and whole wheat.
Tip : Avoid erratic diets.
Capricorn: Ambition and single-minded commitment to a goal can cause high burnout and play havoc with the health. A protein- calcium-rich diet and dietary discipline can help them maintain good and sound health.
The tissue salt for Capricorn is calcium phosphate. Lack of calcium phosphate can cause rickets, misshapen bones, spinal curvature, teeth disorders, bone related problems and pains in the joints.
Eat lemons, watercress, raisins and dairy foods. Foods which are rich in this mineral are oranges, lemons, figs, celery, cabbage, spinach, broccoli, corn, peas, potatoes, walnuts, almonds, whole wheat, oats and brown rice. Capricorns should include a fresh raw salad, fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, eggs and whole-grain breads in their diet every day.
Tip: Do stretching exercises and avoid worrying, as it may drain your energy and dampen your spirits.
Aquarius: Versatile and gifted, they believe in multi-tasking and this can unnecessarily tax the body and mind. What they need is discipline and regularity in diet.
The tissue salt for Aquarius is sodium chloride or common salt. Lack of sodium chloride in the blood results in dehydration and sudden nervous disorders which cannot be explained. The best way to absorb sodium chloride naturally is by eating the proper foods.
Eat ocean fish, lobster, oysters, spinach, radishes, celery, cabbage, lettuce, corn, lentils, almonds, walnuts, apples, peaches, pears, lemons and oranges. Fruits high in Vitamin C will keep the veins and legs healthy and provide immunity. Other foods that are very good for Aquarians are chicken, beets, broccoli, carrots, peppers, tomatoes, strawberries, pineapple, pomegranates, figs, dates, brown rice, whole wheat, yoghurt and natural cheeses.
Tip: Learn to relax and eat at peace and avoid fast foods and snacks.
Pisces: Sensitive, emotional and endowed with delicate constitutions, people born under this sign often suffer from health problems, which stem from emotional imbalance and turmoil. They need to take a diet which gives them emotional security and enough resistance to disease and all kinds of problems.
The tissue salt for Pisces is iron phosphate. Lack of iron in the system can lead to anaemia, low blood pressure, inflammations, glandular problems, and heart irregularities.
Eat broccoli, figs, nuts, root vegetables, liver, lamb, egg yolks, oysters, kidneys, whole-grain cereals, barley, dried beans, beetroot, spinach, onions, lettuce, raisins, dates, apricots, peaches, grapes, apples, lemons and oranges. Pisceans function best with a high protein diet that is low in fat and sugar.
Meat, chicken and fish, natural cheese, yoghurt and nuts are excellent sources of protein.
Tip : Pisceans are particularly susceptible to the effects of alcohol, which will have a degenerating effect on them.
