Your
best bustline may only be a bra away! Here's a complete guide to keeping your
boobs in shape and good
health!
COME on, let's face
it - in the event of a lack of a J Lo butt, our best assets are probably our
boobs! The wellness of your breasts depends on two things: How you look after
them and what bras you
wear.
Burn
The Bad Bra
It's quite ironic that
when bras were first worn, they were used to lift, separate and restrict the
breasts. Comfort and fit were not important issues back then. Thankfully trends
have changed and in the last 60 years, comfort and fit have become more
important than any other criteria. Unfortunately, more than 70 per cent of women
wear the wrong size and style of bra. Don't be one of them! Shopping for the
right bra takes time and patience. Try not to be tempted by the style, price or
brand of a bra. If it hurts to wear, you either won't wear it, or you will
suffer. Your bra band must fit snugly to the chest, just below the breast so
that your breast weight will be transferred onto it. When the bra band is loose,
the shoulder straps take the weight. This sets off a chain reaction of bad to
worst. Shoulder straps get tightened, causing the back of your bra to ride up
and the straps to dig into your shoulders.
