A sweet dish made from
potatoes.

Ingredients
5-6 large potatoes, boiled and grated
1 tbsp ghee
1 2/3 cups (
250 ml) milk
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp cardamom powder
1/4 tsp
mace (javitri) powder
A few glace cherries
Whole cashewnuts to
garnish

Method
Saute the potatoes in ghee for four minutes. Add the milk, stirring continuously
and cook till the mixture is thick. Add the sugar, cardamom and mace powders and
cook till all the liquid has dried up, and the mixture starts leaving the sides.
Transfer to a serving bowl. Arrange the glacé cherries and cashewnuts on
top. Serve hot.
