Oh! Oro
Fashion has a new stop; it’s Oro (gold in Italian),
the brainchild of four designers, which stocks styles in fabrics like chiffon,
brocade and raw silk with sequins, beads and thread work. You can buy
hand-painted kurtis and lungi-skirts with mirrored belts.
The team
comprises Tanveer Khan from the international fashion market (he has worked for
Armani!), stylist and designer, Shirley Daver, Anurag Singhar, an expert in
textiles, and Shilpa Jadav, embroidery expert. The shop takes up customised
bridal wear too (brides-to-be, are you listening?)
