Chandigarh
girl Priyangana is blessed not only with a pretty face but also with a pair of
twinkling toes! This gifted dancer wants to be in the movies one day - and after
seeing her post-make-up look, we say she stands a good chance!
Make-up
artist Meenakshi Dutt observed that the model's skin is nice and smooth, except
for a few freckles. She has a striking bone structure and from the make-up
artist's point of view, her features are a tad 'too strong'; so even a little
extra make-up can look overdone. So, care was taken to keep the look soft and
not angular or hard.
To
begin with, Meenakshi applied L'Oreal's natural beige Quick Stick foundation,
and then dusted MAC Studio Fix powder on Priyangana's face very lightly, with a
big round brush.
For
the eyelids, the artist used Red Earth's Blush shade. The area underneath the
eyes and eye corners were made up with VOV's deep pink shadow, shade 502; while
on the inside of the eyes a white kohl eyeliner from Gosh was used.
MAC's
pink blusher gives that alluring glow on the cheeks. For the lips, the Givenchy
lipstick in Shade 730 was applied, and presto, those lovely lips came to life.
To add more lustre, she used MAC's Cultured lip gloss.
Priyangana
has healthy, bouncy hair cut in steps, and the texture was a delight to work
with, says Meenakshi. To add more body to her locks, some L'Oreal mousse was
applied and the hair was put in hot rollers for about 20 minutes and her curls
were half opened afterwards. As a final touch, her hair was sprayed lightly to
hold the locks in place and add a soft feminine look.
And
thus was created the perfect Springtime Beauty!
