Interested
in a makeover? Wanna be thematic, carnivalistic or celebratory? Parvesh Kumar
and Jai Prakash will help you do that. The designer duo is into what they call
'Body Art Revival'- they draw inspiration from designers and artists like John
Galliano and Pat McGrath (she is a well-known make-up artist) to create stylised
body art. The body painting is then translated into haute clothing. According to
them, in clothes and body art, animal prints, exotic tribal motifs and
traditional shapes are in.

Opt
for a black-on-black take with a little sparkle. It suits all body types
Go
for a short dress in a fluid fabric if you have bulky thighs and a wide
waist
Try
a simple halter dress with some detail for a semi-formal party. It looks great
on a slim, well-maintained body
Slip
into a printed chiffon skin-hugger if you have wide hips and a short
stature
Flaunt
a corset and a skirt if you have a great midriff. But remember not to go
overboard with the details!
Overdo
the conceal-the-wide-waist story! A slightly flared poncho-like top would have
worked better
