Gender tales

/photo.cms?msid=901204 Subtlety is not a woman's prerogative. Women don't understand that men too feel intense emotions but don't always express them.
Men are attracted to pragmatic women, not tearjerkers. At the same time, they are used to women reactings to situations with a lot of noise. So when a woman calmly sits and presents a situation to him, he is instantly threatened.
Men are not comfortable with women making the first move. They might at some level, appreciate the 'coolness' of it all, but when they've had time to think about it, deep down they'll have a coloured view of that woman.
We think that a woman with loads of make-up is trying to conceal something. Natural beauty stays with us much longer.
Women are more forgiving. If a marriage is saved, it is only because of the woman's tolerance, understanding and patience.
A man brings stability and security to a relationship. A woman brings in everything.
In a relationship, a man changes very subtly every day. And he'll change more willingly when a woman doesn't tell him to.
It's how much imperfection you can live with in a relationship that salvages it.
A man's appreciation of a woman is still skin-deep. We're very primitive in the way we look at women. It's much later that we appreciate the rest of her personality.
Childbirth is one world where men wouldn't want to tread at all.
Men are hormonally and genetically a little twisted, in a healthy way, and that twist manifests itself through porn. But they're not comfortable sharing their porn with their women.
It helps when a man's wife and his mother are friends. It balances the two main pillars of the household and solves a lot of problems.
In a courtship, a man is terrified that the woman will find out what he's all about right from the word go. If a woman can accurately describe certain aspects of his personality in just a few dates, it will scare him... it prevents him from having the upper hand. Stupid, but well, there it is.
Men don't look for their mothers in their women. That's a myth.
