Be A Glow-Getter

Fast paced and hectic life topped with juggling various roles can take a toll on your energy and looks. Get radiant. Here's how!

Quick, March: Doing the treadmill isn't half as much fun as stepping outdoors in the crisp, brisk air. What's more, an outdoorsy workout treats skin to a blast of fresh oxygen, awakening every cell and speeding up waste-removal from your skin. Find a green space and walk, bike, trek, jog or hike your way to a rosy glow.

Press 'Snooze': If you do nothing else for your skin, make sure you treat it to adequate amounts of rest. It is as easy as laying your head on a pillow and closing your eyes. Do this nightly, and say Bye-Bye to sallow, sulky, sagging skin.

Bonus: Those ugly under-eye bags will pack up, too. And of course, you'll wake up feeling you have energy to give away. Goodnight!

Catch Those Rays : Yes, it's true - too much sun is more foe than friend. But don't dismiss that warm sunshine altogether. Did you know - 10 to 15 minutes of unprotected exposure to sunlight several times a week is essential to the health of your bones and skin because it helps skin absorb calcium better.

More good news for sun-lovers: Sun exposure helps heal eczema, psoriasis and acne, and energises your body. Not to mention how lovely it feels to laze under a warm blanket of sunshine.

Drink Up: Water constantly leaves your body, and if you don't replenish the supply, your body will begin to draw from its essential reserves.

The result: Your skin will look pinched, you'll sprout pimples and rashes, and you'll find your digestive rhythm going awry. The simple fix: Guzzle those eight to 10 glasses of water daily, whether you feel thirsty or not. You'll look and feel like a million bucks!
