Let's Go!

Going to the movies? To the races? Or perhaps you’ve got a date with future in-laws? Wherever it is, we’ve got the look.
LET’S GO TO THE MOVIES /photo.cms?msid=14650131 This is just a movie date, so we don’t want them to think we’ve come for a premier. Dress casual and cool - bright colours and showing skin is in every summer practically, but remember movie theatres are always freezing cold, so carry a jacket, or cuddle.
* Start with a Kryolan Panstick (shade FS 27) as a base to cover any blemishes and skin pigmentation. * Puff on some Kryolan dark powder and follow with a peach blush from Lancome. * On the eyes, Sandhya is wearing Chambor silver brown eyeshadow and a light touch of mascara. * For the lips, dash on a layer of pink lip colour followed by lip shine - both from MAC.
LET’S GO TO THE DERBY /photo.cms?msid=14650193 Only wannabees wear large hats at the Derby. The focused are the more understated. Light fabrics are best for the sunny race track, make-up has to be long-wearing and give you high sun protection.
Choose your base carefully so it doesn’t run or get patchy when you sweat. Preferably, wear a light concealer only in places you need it.
* Cover and conceal with Kryolan’s skin tone base that’s closest to your complexion. Follow with MAC’s translucent powder. * For the eyes, Sandhya’s wearing Smokey from MAC. * Finish off with just MAC’s Sorbet lip colour.
LET’S GO MEET THE PARENTS /photo.cms?msid=14650175 Ah! The much awaited moment is here and you don’t know whether you should go the K3G or Kyunki Saas bhi.. . way. Well, the demi-‘bahu’ look can’t fail. Above all, be you. If you’re not comfortable with too much make-up, skip the skin-tone base and instead, use a concealer sparingly.
* Whether you use a concealer or not, with a large brush, dust translucent face powder lightly on your forehead, cheeks, nose and skin. * Sandhya’s wearing a bronze eye colour from Kryolan lightly on the lids. * Use a Make-Up Forever Blush in rose under the cheekbones, taking the strokes upward from the cheek to the temple. * On the lips, use Maron from Make-Up Forever.
