Book For You
#1
Trust your instincts
. If you feel you've
been compromised in some way, make a noise about it. If you feel that the
tailor's acting fresh, tell him to keep his hands to himself and leave. Don't be
embarrassed and suffer in silence.
#2
Be aware
. If you're going for a
physical, try and find out a bit about the procedure. It helps to be aware. "I
always ask what the doctor plans to do, why a certain procedure is being
performed," says Shraddha. "And why shouldn't I ask? It's my body, isn't it?" It
is, that it is.
#3
Maintain a distance
. It's all very fine
to sit and share a laugh, but keep it to that. Sending Valentine's Day messages
to your doctor is not on. Rathod reveals, "Lots of members will deliberately ask
for help in stretches when there are young good-looking trainers around." Don't
create situations where there's room for trouble. You can't flirt with a trainer
and then raise hell if he tries and touches you in an inappropriate manner.

No cheap thrills
. Don't use this as an excuse for your own vulgarity.
Keep your cheap thrills at home, where they belong. Says Dr Shalini Mehta*,
homoeopath, "This guy would come to see me late in the evening, when there
weren't any patients around and ask to be examined under false pretexts. After a
bit, I was extremely uncomfortable and recommended him to a male doctor."
They're there to treat people; not for the likes of you!
