Hotting Up on Harry!- Femina

Presenting Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Is-Growing-Up-To-Be-Quite-Yummy...
• First of all, this is a tribute to Harry Potter, NOT Daniel Radcliffe (though we think he's really cute too).

• He's made an entire generation scurry back to good old reading! Everyone you see has their noses in a Potter book... kids, teens, 20-somethings, their parents, their parents' parents; everyone's hooked.

• He has that whole startling-green-eyes-and-black-pillow-messy-hair thing going on. And that scar and lanky frame just add to his appeal. We just wish he were a little older... And real too, while we're at it!

• Anyone who makes dorky glasses a rage is cool in our book!

• Has a small fortune buried in Gringotts, the wizard bank... not that we care about his wealth and all that; it's just that a little luxury never hurt anyone. Think of all the hippogriffs you can buy... and fly all over the world on them with Harry on his Firebolt by your side!
• Comes from a rare breed of genuinely nice guys. Honest, sincere, respects women, treats everyone equally, including strange self-pain-inflicting house-elves. Okay, we geddit! No wonder he's fictional!

• Is an awesome Quidditch player. No one else has half a chance of getting the Snitch when this dude's on a broomstick in the sky. Do we even need to mention how 'bloody brilliant' we think sporting heroes are?

• Is extremely uncomfortable about his 'star status'. He tries his best to escape the spotlight that's perpetually trailing him. Famous, elusive and modest - that's a lethal combination!

• Has got kids thinking about the importance of friendship, honesty and courage. He's as brave as they come. Rises to the occasion and (admittedly sometimes predictably) saves the day.

• Is steadfastly loyal to the people he loves. Maybe that love come from being alone throughout his childhood (and the beating-Harry-for-fun games with Dudley do NOT count for pleasurable company). Although, we've noticed that though Harry always receives presents from Ron and Hermione on his birthday, we never read of him sending them any... Hmm...

• Seems endearingly clueless about girls. The exceptionally short fling with Cho Chang seems to be right out the window, so wonder boy is single again...
