“The more I see of men,
the less I like them.
If I could
say so of women too, all would be well.’’
- Lord
Byron

Predictable as a pear, men typecast themselves! Is it a lack of
originality, or because they want to make the choice easier for women?
Here’s a caustic and seasoned
view of the best and worst
types!
THE
BEST FRIEND
This is the ‘good friend’ who’s
always there for you, unconditionally. He’s accepting, honest, funny,
loyal, trustworthy and dependable. His is always the honest voice and wants the
best for you...
Most fun for:
Going to a movie with, hanging out with. Always cool. He’s the perfect
shoulder to cry on.
Why he’s
worth going out with:
Because he knows you for the person you are.
Why he might not be The One:
Because he knows you so well, he’d have to be crazy to want to fall in
love with you. Although he has all the good qualities we women want in a man, he
makes a terrible boyfriend, because it’s rare to find a guy friend, and
because no one wants to risk losing a great friendship for something that may or
may not work out.
THE SWEET SENSITIVE
The sensitive guy is sweet, kind, supportive and considerate. The
perfect gentlemen with whom women have a great rapport.
Most fun for:
Talking and
sharing your secrets with.
Why
he’s worth investigating:
This guy makes a great husband and
father.
Why he might not be The One: Unlike the Best Friend, this guy can
be a great boyfriend. But, because he’s so great, women tend to see him as
a potential best friend whom they wouldn’t wanna lose, so nothing happens.
Sadly, no one really appreciates this type of guy.
“A diplomat
is a man who always remembers a woman’s birthday but never her age.”
- Robert
Frost
THE
INSENSITIVE JERK

This is the guy you love to hate and hate to love. He has this
quality of being able to make you laugh, smile and wince all at the same time.
He’s irrational, confused, erratic and terrible at facing reality,
although he’d like you to believe that he’s truly objective.
Most of these guys are very vulnerable and very defensive.
They’re sure about everything else - career et al - but are careless and
confused about their relationships. They’re known to assume the worst, to
be emotionally incompetent, and rarely understanding.
Most fun for:
Making you laugh. He
has a great sense of humour, and is usually great fun to be with.
Why he’s worth
investigating:
Because initially, everything would be great. How long
that period lasts depends on your tolerance levels!
Why he might not be The One:
He has another side to him, which people who get close get to know, sooner or
later. He’s sweet and kind, but with strings attached. He’s good for
the going for as long as it suits him, and he can be selfish to the core.
“The only thing that men and women have in common is that they
both prefer the company of men.”
Oscar Wilde
