A

Cinemas
After changing the face of movie viewing in the capital, PVR
Cinemas has unveiled a five-screen multiplex in the Metropolitan Mall, Gurgaon.
The state-of-the-art, fully digital multiplex offers a seating capacity of 1,000
seats, and screens a mix of English and Hindi films. The all-new fully digital
PVR Gurgaon multiplex is equipped with the latest THX approved sound system for
the real life sound effects and Xenon-based projection technology.
Attention to detail and stress on high quality cinema viewing
experience is evident from the unique seating arrangement that ensures
unobstructed viewing from anywhere in the auditorium. Plush, ergonomically
designed seats have been installed to provide ultimate comfort to guests. Built
over 55,000 sq. ft. of space, the multiplex has an avant-garde lobby with studio
effect interiors. Station concession counters offer customers a wide selection
of the traditional movie going fare of sweet and salted popcorn, hotdogs and
soft drinks, as well as candy, nachos, fruit juices and mineral water. Look out

The DLF Group, one of country’s largest real estate
companies, has now forayed into entertainment. The DT Cinemas multiplex in
Gurgaon is built on an area of around 48,000 sq. ft., has three auditoriums and
can seat up to 1,014 people.
The screens in this multiplex offer the latest projection
technology, which has been imported from Christie (US). Also, the auditoriums
have been equipped with Digital Tri-amplified three-way extended surround sound
technology so that you do not miss out on any of the special effects. With a
minimum of six movies playing at any given day and a show starting every 30
minutes, DT Cinemas offers something for everyone, at any time.
Two candy bars serve special gourmet food like salads, sandwiches
and other finger food. To provide an easy access to movie viewing, the tickets
can be booked on telephone, online and via SMS.
DT Cinemas also offers home delivery of tickets. Another plus is a
huge parking lot that can house up to 1,000 cars. There is also a special
handicap parking area just outside the
mall.
Satyam
Cineplexes
The Satyam Cineplexes operates a four-screen cinema in
Patel Nagar currently, and has two new cineplexes at Janak Place and Nehru Place
in the pipeline. The Satyam Cineplexes are fitted with the latest designs in
luxury seating and have stadium seating to ensure high level of comfort and
excellent viewing. The sound system is Dolby DTS with effects speakers for
complete surround sound. The Satyam cineplexes’ concession counters are
stocked with popcorn, soft drinks, burgers, candy, hotdogs, nachos, and
sandwiches.
